Did Death Battle get it right or wrong?: Kratos vs Spawn

This is a series of blogs where I look at somewhat controversial episodes in Death Battle. Today is Kratos vs Spawn.

Equipment

K-7 Leetha

K-7 Leetha. The suit that Spawn wears is a neural parasite, It grows stronger through inflicting pain.

Spawn can directly control the suit. It can change it's appearance such as, a police officer or some white guy. Leetha grants him precognition like the Spider sense.

The suit feeds on sinful emotions like hate and anger, it feeds off souls. It can make Spawn intangible, being able to phase through objects. Leetha completely acts on its own even when Spawn isn't conscious. Leetha allows Spawn to use very powerful chains and cape.

Sword Of The Spirit

A sword powered by Spawn's will. Devouring the souls of it's foes.  

Spawn used it to seal off Hell from Earth.

Abilities

Necroplasm

Necroplasm is a will-controlled magical substance that Spawn uses through the series. Houdini stated that magic is tricking the universe into believing something, thus warping reality. It grants him his more powerful abilities. Originally he had a meter of 9999 and if it went to zero, he would go to hell. But this is no longer a drawback.

The abilities of Necroplasm include:

Energy manipulation: Can shoot energy beams.

 Resurrection: Can Resurrection the dead and even himself.

Time Stop: Has the power to stop time itself.

Healing factor: Can regenerate a giant hole in his stomach, survived without a heart and Healed. Can heal even while being dissected into little pieces. 

Teleportation: while moving at the speed of light, this let's Spawn teleport long distances.

Mind Manipulation: Spawn casts illusions on two rival cyborg gangs, can mentally induce pain on to others, can make illusions based on people's fear..

Materialization: Can think of things and make them appear like with wine.

Sin manipulation: Draws in the sin and wickedness from people, Can draw from someone's evil out and use it to attack them, forcing them to kill themselves,absorbed the sins of all people in new york.

Power Snatching/Power Bestowl: Nullified and brought back the powers of two demons who could teleport and a demon who could time travel.

Soul Manipulation: Can shoot out spiritual soul acid.

Summoning: Can summon powerful creature's out of nowhere and even other HellSpawn.

•Fear manipulation: scared off Angela.

 Icarus' Wings

This allows Kratos to fly great distances to get wherever he needs to go.

 The Blades of Chaos

The Blades of Chaos were forged at the darkest depths of the Underworld by Ares himself. They were imbued with fire, which allowed them to ignite with every attack that the user(I.E Kratos) performed.

Guardian Shield

The Guardian Shield is a retractable shield, present inside a gauntlet on Kratos' left arm. It is used to parry, block and reflect enemy attacks.

Claws of Hades

These chains are extremely lethal weapons as they allow Kratos to attack at short and long distances. Draining the souls of foes.

Amulet Of Uroborus

This Amulet allows Kratos to manipulate time itself, like slowing down and rewind time.

Eye of Atlantis

This Magical eye attacks both spirit and body to obliterate any foe.

The Leviathan Axe

Kratos can summon the Axe whenever, it can freeze enemies near instantly, it automatically seeks out enemies to kill.

Aura of weakness

As stated in the picture, any person in a 15 meter radius will be weakned.

Grip Of Tanngiost

The axe gives shoots out powerful lightning out to shock any nearby opponents.

Duelist's Protective Barrier

Creates a powerful barrier, protecting Kratos.

Regenerating Essence

This lets Kratos heal passively overtime.

Eye of Runic 

All the damage Kratos takes is cut in half, making Kratos way harder to kill.

Strength

•Defeated the Furies, who made an entire dimension with an entire sea in it.

•Pushed away Atlas's grip.

•Mimir stated he wouldn't who would win between Kratos or Thor.

Note: Thor was able to beat Surtur, who's sword can cause Ragnarok and end all of existence. which is made of endless timelines, Which is only part of Yggdrasil.

 And A younger Thor and baby Jörmungandr where able of shaking and splintering the Yggdrasil.

•Killed Thanatos, who is a primordial. Primordial such as Uranus, created the universe by sheer movement alone.

•Created a huge crater

•Took hits from Satan and got up right after, completely fine.

•Took multiple hits from Tiffany, an angel that was stronger than Angela.

•Took a hit from Urizen and got up right after.

Now some people reading are probably curious about the stats given for Spawn in his strength section.

"Dimensional tiering for Spawn? Isn't he just regular Multiversal?"

Now this is an excellent question. As shown earlier, The Multiverse has at least 20 mathematical dimensions beyond the already 4 dimensions of space-time. Making the cosmology of the Spawn/Image comics cosmos to be 24D. Now would Spawn scale? Luckily for him, yes. As shown earlier he shook the very timbers of all creation and could end all of existence.These aren't the only feats on this level however, as when Angela killed Argus. He shook and nearly collapsed half of the known dimensions in his death, since there are 24 dimensions, 24 divided by 2 is 12 making Spawn Hyperversal.

Lower estimate: 12D (Hyperversal)

Higher Estimate: 24D (Hyperversal)

No matter which estimate we use, Spawn had the power advantage by large margin.

Moving onto speed, going with quantifiable ends Abdiel crossing the universe was most likely better than Kratos Trillion c feat.

Using unquantifiable speed feats, Kratos scaled to Hermes in speed. Someone's who dodged Helios light, Helios kight can cover all of the underworld. A realm that is infinite in size.

Now if you read the speed section for Spawn, you would know Spawn was way faster. Destorying time with pure speed put him at Inaccessible speed putting him infinity above Kratos. Even no named Angels can move in non-linear time, which is basically the definition of immeasurable speed.

Spawn logically massively upscales from this since it's from some no named Angel. This makes Spawn's speed edge insanely big.

Both have good hax and win conditions though unfortunately for Kratos. Spawn was just....better.

Kratos soul manipulation with Claws of Hades which drains souls was very powerful, luckily for Spawn he had a counter. As Urizen has the same type of soul manipulation as Kratos and Spawn resisted it.

Spawn just had way more bullshit to pull from, devouring Kratos soul, sealing, devolve Kratos soul, take away his powers etc etc. 

In the end I think Spawn would win because of his stats and hax. Compared to Spawn, Kratos is not that guy.
